Devy(Creator of "The Devy Combo" see bottom) started playing Smash when it first came out on the 64, never went into competitive playing because he was still pretty young.
He usually used Pikachu because like the other kids his age Poke'mon was still big. He first met his future Crew Member Sago in 2003 and were mostly friends because they were the only real anime fans at the school. The first time they played smash together was in a Smash tourney at a local GameCrazy. The Finals was a three-way between Devy, Sago, and some random kid. Sago and the random kid teamed up on Devy because he was a bit better than them. After Devy died the random kid betrayed Sago and won.
When SSBM came out Devy always used Sheik because he/she was fast and could beat down a goat in a heartbeat. In 2005 Devy started talking to Fade at school and finally came to the topic of SSBM. They never really got to play together. Next year Devy introduced Fade to Sago and Fade told them about Smashboards. They then saw that there was a tournament being held at the UWSP and went to it. The name of the tournament was FUGHEDDABOUTIT(spelling?). In teams Devy teamed with Fade and they lost both matches but won a round in each. In singles Devy had to face KSSB in the first round and lost horribly. In the losers bracket Devy had to face some random Fox and won a round then lost 2 in a row. After some friendlies with C-Wolf, Devy found out he was extremely lucky with Luigi because he would misfire almost half the time, so he started using Luigi.
Devy plays Ganondorf in tourneys, but is a Captain Falcon player by heart. He thinks this quote is true "Ganon is the worst character in the game", said by Eddie and Toecutter. Currently his Captain Falcon is almost just as good as his Ganon. He is extremly lucky with Luigi and Peach. One time in a Match with Sago, Devy misfired 14 times in a row. Also at a local Tourny in Stevens Point Devy called stitches everytime he pulled them. Fade and Sago claim there is a trick to pull out stitches because they rarely pull stiches out. He can also do a Roy combo match from match even when he's not playing Roy. Also Devy and Fade missed White 5 because Black Hayate has a crazy chinese mom.
Currently Devy is taking a break from playing SSBM to play Guitar Hero 3, trying to catch up to Tapion in it, but doubts it will ever happen.
