Pidgey

Pidgey (ポッポ Poppo in the Japanese versions) is a Pokémon of the type Normal/Flying and has also the species "Tiny Bird Pokémon". It appears to have been based on pigeons. It's name also seems to have been a corruption of pigeon or a combination of pigeon and budgey, while it's Japanese name appears to be the onomatopoeia of the sound a pigeon makes, ポッポッポ poppoppo.
