Parasol
From SmashWiki, the Super Smash Bros. wiki
The Parasol item not only can be used as a weapon, but acts like a personal parachute, reminiscent of the parasol from the Kirby series.
- Can be used to float, even after 3rd jump. Fall by simply pressing down.
- When A is tapped, it does between 3-6% damage.
- When fully charged, it does between 15-24% damage.
- When dropped, it does 2% damage.
- When thrown at an opponent, it does between 7-9% damage.
- While open in the air, it does between 2-4% damage.
- When B+Up is used by Peach while holding the Parasol, her normal white parasol is replaced by this one.
The Parasol makes a poor throwing weapon, as it will open shortly after being thrown, eliminating all of its horizontal momentum.
It is one of five items to not make a return in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. These items include the Barrel Cannon, Cloaking Device, Flipper, and Red Shell.
