Lord Ryu is a somewhat lazy player. He doesn't like to practice, but remains a fairly decent smasher. He mains Ice Climbers and Mewtwo, but plays as many different characters; including, but not limited to; Marth, Sheik, Fox, Zelda, Ness, and Yoshi. He is also a notable spriter and writes and illustrates a sprite comic called Oblivion Chaos.
He has recently risen in skill and has become a Kirbycide master, using Kirbycide to win a match against a pro player.
In SSB, he mains Captain Falcon.
In Brawl, Ryu plays as Fox, Bowser, and Peach in most macthes; however, he plays as Meta Knight in tournaments specifically to fight other Meta Knights. His least favorite stage is Yoshi's Island Brawl for unknown reasons.
