Helmaroc King

The Helmaroc King is an enemy bird creature from The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

In The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker, it kidnapped Link's sister, Aryll, at the beginning of the game and when Link tries to save her in the Forsaken Fortress, the Helmaroc King comes back and throws him into the distance. The King of Red Lions then tells Link that the Helmaroc King is a servant on the evil Ganondorf, and that it was ordered to kidnap all long-eared girls. Ganondorf does this in order to locate Princess Zelda. Link defeats the Helmaroc King when he returns to the Forsaken Fortress with the Master Sword later in the game. Defeating the Helmaroc King gives you a Heart Container and entrance into Ganon's Quarters.

- A monstrous bird that wears a mask. On orders from Ganondorf, he sets out in search of Zelda, capturing every pointy-eared little girl he can find. His weak point is the area directly under his mask. This fellow also appears in "A Link to the Past," but that version was more beastly and was called the Helmasaur King... He still wore a mask, of course.
