Gimpyfish is an American smasher known primarily for being one of the few notable Bowser professionals in Melee. He has made several Bowser combo videos, the last being "Gimpyfish: The Movie (aka Boozer Cute 2)".

In Melee
People regularly claim he is "way too good" with Bowser. Although there have been many claims that Gimpyfish would be amazing with a higher tier character, he stays true to his Bowser and instead has elevated him to extremely high levels of play. Gimpyfish was ranked 7th on the Washington Power Rankings before he moved to SoCal, in which he is currently ranked 13th on the SoCal Power Rankings.
In Brawl
With the release of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Gimpyfish simply could not enjoy playing Bowser the way he did in Melee due to all of Bowser's changes and as such he now insists that "Bowser isn't playable in Brawl." Gimpyfish then considered using Meta Knight, but decided to main Sheik after she was significantly weakened in Brawl, thus allowing him once again to compete with a low-tier character. His first and latest combo video with Sheik has been released on YouTube with the name "The Triforce of Style".
Gimpyfish has officially returned to Melee and no longer plays Brawl, meaning he no longer uses Sheik and is back to using Bowser.
Trivia
- Gimpyfish is one of the only smashers who truly prefers to be refered to by his "gamer tag" over his real name in most cases, he commonly just goes by Gimpy when among friends.
- Gimpyfish is limited in areas of tech skill, and generally relies almost solely on mindgames in his matches.
- Gimpyfish is a moderator on smashboards.com in the entirity of both the Brawl and Melee sections of the website, in addition to all regional boards.
- Gimpyfish has a habit of editing other people's posts, abusing his mod powers for comedic effect.
- Gimpyfish was voted president of the Super Smash Bros. Melee forums on Gamefaqs.com.
- Gimpyfish is Bowser exclusive in tournament (meaning only uses Bowser) in Melee.
- Gimpyfish now lives in SoCal (Riverside) for school (Cal Baptist University) where he is majoring in Education/Kinesiology
- Gimpyfish drinks Coca-Cola like water at every tournament

- Gimpyfish won over 8 awards for SWF's Forum Awards 2007. Such awards include Forum Monkey, Best Signature, Friendliest Member, Most Helpful, Best Forum Gamer, Most Valuable, Sexiest Mod, and Most Gregarious. He also was the runner-up for several categories as well: Dr. Smash, Smash Practitioner, Best Cinematographer, and Host with the Most.
