Free Excal is a Houston-based Smash crew consisting of the following players:

The name comes from the "Free Excal" petition to unban crewmate BPro from the Cyberathlete Amateur League (CAL) back when he was better known as talented Counter Strike player "Excal". Excal was wrongfully banned from the league for allegedly using hacks. In reality, he was simply extraordinarily skilled and played entirely legitimately, but yielded a performance so amazing that apparently it was inconceivable to CAL administrators that it had been human skill alone.
