Fade is a smasher from midwest Wisconsin. He has been playing Smash since the game came out on the Nintendo 64. He used to play casually until he was on the Internet looking for tips for Smash and came around to wavedashing. Then, by fate, one day he went over to his friend's house and met Black Hayate (because Fade's friend and Black Hayate were cousins) and was then introduced into the competitive world. Later, he found Smashboards and went to his first tourney (ironically hosted by Black Hayate). Fade did not do well in the tourney, but he almost won a match. He met a few more people, but did not give up on the smashing community in his strive to become better.
Fade then went to a small Marshfield tourney and took 3rd place with Sago, a Dr. Mario player, in teams and 5th place in singles. The third tourney Fade went to was in White Water; he was teamed with Sago again and did fair. The people at White Water who have played Fade at Fuhgeddaboutit 1 have noticed major improvements in Fade and his partner Sago. Fade has also competed at the tournament FBT2 which was hosted by Spikes and Black Hayate in Oshkosh. However, Fade only got to compete in teams and not singles because he had to leave. He took 13th (of about 30+ teams) in the Midwest circuit and got to the brackets and out of their pool.
Now Fade is a rising star in the smash community. He still attends tourneys when possible and plays friendies whenever he can as well. Fade is also good friends with Toecutter, Black Hayate, and his brother, Thomas Jefferson. Fade is in a crew named Team Epic, along with its other members Sago, Devy, Toecutter, and Black Hayate.
