[edit] Background
The smash history of ElfenLiedPeach is rather simple. She began semi-competitve playing in July of 2006, and eventually became an all out contender in a local crew by September of that same year. She immediately took a liking to Peach and after seeing a video of Mike G. on youtube, became deterimined to maximize her Peach abilities. Several months down the road, she had picked up almost every other character as backups, but her Peach prowess remained her only character worth pushing to tournament-worthy talent. She has gone to about many local tournaments with her crew and usually placed decently, however the one major thing that she lacks is experience of going to big tournaments with a lot of players at a higher level than herself. Getting that experience is her next goal in progressing her smash skills. In most recent times, she has found even more motivation to improve thanks to her supportive boyfriend, with whom she has formed a doubles pair known as "Dark Royalty"
[edit] Strengths
Amber has several strengths in her smash playing, particularly with Peach, but consistent with most characters. On many occassions, people have complimented her on having really good spacing. She makes efficient use of any rare turnips (particularly stitchface, bomb-bomb, and beam sword) to really change the landscape of the fights her Peach is pitted in. She has also been noted to be a decently quick Peach while still being controlled and contemplative. She knows how to abuse the FC and can use her technical abilities to push some interesting mindgames.
[edit] Weaknesses
Her moving ability tends to be mediocre, and while it is effective on offense, she can not use movement in a defensive manner in any good way. She does not exploit her turnip game as well as it could be, particularly when edgeguarding. While on the stage, her predictability isn't very bad; however when recovering from a ledge, she is easily punished because of a lack of diversity. Her other major weakness is the lack of tournament experience that seasons players into making the right choices in their matches.
