Is a rising part of WA consisting of some very skilled and talented smashers such as Deva ,Chip ,Artifice ,Red. ,Kamaji etc.Contains R.C. though.
[edit] The beginning
The whole scene started in the year of 2006 in October when Metroid hosted a tourney at the pizza station for SSBM. It attracted many skilled players like Deva, Chip,Red,slyd. Little would know that this would mark the start of eastern WA smash. Later that same year in December, a tourney was held in the north town mall using Round robin format. In April of 2007 a sporly was held where R.C. made a special appearance and came in 1st easily, He was impressed with eastern WA though.
2 weeks later Deva, Red, Kamaji,Brdy,Peaches etc went to The Dan where they met incredible players like Luigi Ka-master, Eggz, Silent Wolf, DJ Combo etc. Red was remembered as almost beating Captain Obvious( Westerns best ssb64 player) in a ssb64 tourney set with Kirby. But Deva and Brdy also gained lots of respect by making it to the top 16 by making it out of their pools.
In June Aftermath made a special appearance along with ratking by making it to a sporly. Aftermath was very impressed with the competition and wanted to play eastern WA more,later he would move from Oregon to Washington in September.
As the months went by Artifice started hosting sporlys at Eastern Washington university where the competition attracted competition. currently sporly is held every 2 weeks of every month. On Smashboards you can view the eastern WA thread where the tourneys are held and funny posts are made.
