Cure is a competitive smasher who lives in Georgetown, Ontario. He is regarded as the best smasher in Georgetown.

His smashing journey began at his school where he entered a lonely video game club. Surprisingly they played a game that he had recently purchased SSBM, so he thought he'd give it a shot. Cure met up with a fellow smasher named Toxn who knew the ways of "wavedash" and was curious about its usage. After a while, he started learning many techniques and strategies. Then he decided he wanted to go to a tournament. "The Battle of CakeTown" is where his first tournament took place. Nervous enough as he was, he placed 7th and became noticeable as a pretty decent smasher along with his friends Tron and Toxn.
