Aryll is a major character from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. She is the younger sister of Link, and has blonde pigtails and sports a trendy flower top.

Aryll is a cheerful, sweet young girl who lives on Outset Island with her older brother, Link, and her grandmother, whose name is not specified. Early on in the storyline of Windwaker, Aryll is kidnapped by the Helmaroc King , who mistakes her for Tetra, the leader of a band of pirates, to whom Aryll bears a resemblance. Aryll is highly integral to the plot of Windwaker, as her kidnapping is what causes Link to leave the comfortable surroundings of his home, Outset Island, to embark on a quest to save her, which eventuates in Link facing down Ganondorf himself to save the the entirety of the Great Sea.

Link's cheerful younger sister, often seen wearing a hibiscus-print dress. Despite her age, she has a good head on her shoulders and carries her turtle-marked telescope with care. On Link's birthday, Aryll is mistaken for the female pirate captain,Tetra and captured by the Helmaroc King. Imprisoned in the Forsaken Fortress, she awaits rescue by Link.
